In addition to her work as a therapist, clinical supervisor, workshop facilitator, and educator, Dr. Thalia Anderen is an active researcher and published author. Her scholarship focuses on trauma-informed practice, social work education, ethics, professional development, and the complex dynamics that shape relationships between students, educators, and institutions.​

 

Dr. Anderen's research has contributed to an emerging body of knowledge on Student-Initiated Confrontation (SIC) in higher education, examining the challenges educators may experience when navigating conflict, power dynamics, and institutional responses. Through peer-reviewed journal articles, scholarly book chapters, and invited publications, her work bridges research and practice by offering evidence-informed insights for clinicians, educators, supervisors, and organizational leaders.​
